Johnny Depp John Christopher Depp II, was born on June 9th, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky. His parents are John, an engineer, and Betty Sue, a housewife. He’s got a brother, Danny, and two sisters, Christie and Debbie. His family moved to Florida when he was a child. At the age of 15, his parents divorced, he abandoned school and started playing the guitar in garage bands. But five year later he met Nicholas Cage and began to be an actor. In 1984 he worked in his first film “A nightmare on Elm Street”, playing a heroic boyfriend. In 1986 he did a secondary role in Oliver stone’s Platoon. After that he did “Edward Scissorhands” and began a long association with Tim Burton, as Depp did the films “Ed Wood”, “Sleepy Hollow”, “Charlie and the chocolate factory” and “Corpse Bride”. But his most famous performance was in “Pirates of the Caribbean: The curse of the Black Pearl” when he played the fantastic Jack Sparrow and received an Academy Award nomination. Three years later he did the continuation with “Pirates of the Caribbean: The dead man’s chest” and this year the trilogy finishes with “Pirates of The Caribbean: At World’s End”. Johnny Depp is, in fact, a very good actor, with unforgettable performances. Daniel Araujo
